Welcome to Salomons Estate
Salomons Estate is open to explore seven days a week from 9am – 6pm.
Featuring winding paths, enchanting fairy trails, serene woodlands, and a tranquil lake, Salomons Estate provides the perfect backdrop for a day out. Free to visit, there are 36 acres of picturesque rolling gardens waiting to be explored, just a couple of miles from the centre of Royal Tunbridge Wells.
Due to a busy calendar of guest events, we advise calling ahead on 01892 515 152 or checking our schedule below to avoid disappointment, as our gardens and grounds are closed when occupied for weddings and events.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome around our grounds and in The Bistro.
Fairy Trail
For our younger visitors and the young at heart, our Fairy Trail is a delightful way to explore our grounds, with a special festive-themed adventure available in the main manor house throughout Christmas. Collect your free map from reception and let the magic of the trail guide you through our enchanting woodlands, where fairy houses are hidden amongst the blooming flowers.
Gardens and Wildlife
Our meticulously tended gardens are a haven for local wildlife, including our friendly gaggle of geese. Goose feed is available from reception for just £1 per bag, and our estate keepers welcome you to feed the birdlife as you explore the trails, woodlands, and lake.
Our dedicated gardeners have also been working hard to offer visitors a piece of Salomons Estate to take home. A selection of plants and seedlings, all lovingly potted, are available for purchase from reception.
Drinking and Dining
After exploring, treat yourself to something delicious at The Bistro, located in our historic Victorian mansion overlooking the gardens. Enjoy coffee and cake for £5, or indulge in a delicious lunch available Monday to Friday from 12.00 until 3.00pm. It’s the perfect way to relax and enjoy a little time out.
